  • Published online in 2016 with US News and World Report for a profile on the city of Dayton
  • Published in Sinclair Community College’s Flights journal in 2015 and 2018
  • First and second place short story winner in Antioch Writers’ Workshop competition in 2014 and 2015 (with stories that later appeared in anthologies)
  • Dayton Metro Library Poetry Competition first place winner in 2014
  • From 2009 to 2011, freelance writer and photographer for The Bugle, Pontiac IL and placement in other competitions and misc. blog/freelance writing
